Lauren Linscott …Big Ideas! Chief Executive Officer
I knew what I wanted to do when I heard Sara Blakely’s story (SPANX) on The Oprah Show. It was a memorable moment to say the least. I jumped out of my chair, startled my husband in the process and bellowed, “I want to be that woman!” in my best Oprah voice….repeatedly. I wanted to be an entrepreneur, an inventor and a generous philanthropist and advocate for women, just like Sara. I had no idea how I would ever do all that she had done, but I believed it was possible. I prayed for divine guidance, I took one small step after another and I followed Sara’s sage advice….listen to your gut.
I listened when my mom talked about her jewelry storage issues and I listened again a few days later when my sister-in-law did the same. Some may say it’s just a coincidence, but I believed it was a sign, a whisper that this was the moment, a problem I could solve. And so it began….

Andrea Donahue…Moves Projects Forward! Chief of Operations
I was immediately intrigued the moment Lauren mentioned her idea of creating a jewelry hanger. While I didn’t have much jewelry at the time I loved the challenge of solving a problem and I had always dreamed of being an entrepreneur. The three of us would meet Friday nights after work and brainstorm designs. One of my favorite parts was bringing the prototypes to life. I spent many a weekend at home depot or rifling through my Dad’s work shed to find materials we could use. Our first ROXSEE prototype was made out of copper wire that I formed into a silhouette by bending it around a frame I created from wood and nails…lots of nails. We were even sewing at one point which was not a pretty sight, none of us could sew!
It’s an honor to be a part of inventing the best jewelry hanger, but I’m even more proud that we’re creating a company that inspires women, the way that Lauren and Lisa inspire me every day. What really drives me is the desire to be a positive role model for my daughter like my own mother is for me.
Andrea Donahue is a graduate of Renton Technical College and has a background in dental assisting, administrative management, and marketing. She brings a small business perspective to Untangle My Chains, is skilled at managing people and projects and is passionate about operational efficiency. Lisa Fitch…Details and Design! Chief of Research & Development
I never imagined I’d help create a product and company from the ground up and be able to combine all the things I love – friends, fashion, research, problem solving – into a career! I helped accelerate our prototyping by creating ROXSEE paper dolls that allowed us to quickly visualize our designs…and saved Andrea from hammering so many nails! My teenage daughter has been involved as well; I love being able to work with her and show her what women can achieve when they work together.
Lisa Fitch's career includes over a decade of experience at one of the nation's leading-edge health care providers. She has held positions in information technology and project management and brings with her a wealth of experience in data management, EDI, large scale system integration, and employee training. Lisa is a crafter and DIY'er at heart and has a love for all things Vintage. She enjoys relaxing with her husband and daughter in her spare time.
